Evaline’s Bridal
Family-owned Evaline’s Bridal has been helping brides and bridesmaids find “The Dress of all Dresses” for nearly 70 years. Owner Lori Dubasik purchased the business from its original owners and has been running the bridal shop for more than 30 years.
To give brides a more couture shop- ping experience, Evaline’s Bridal recently moved to a new location at The Market Place (5200 East Market) in Warren (Howland Township). The new location
features an exquisite showroom, twirling areas and a glamorous setting. “Our new location has 32 large windows that showcase our gorgeous gowns,” Dubasik says. “We change our windows twice a week so brides can window-shop and get inspiration before stepping foot into our shop.”
Evaline’s Bridal provides a large selec- tion of bridal gowns from a variety of designers, including Ian Stuart, Hayley Paige, Essense of Australia, Allure Bridals and Pronovias. Dubasik says she selects
her collection from designers all over the world. Each year, she attends bridal fash- ion events where each gown is hand- selected. “I love featuring gowns that aren’t seen everywhere because every bride wants to be an individual and be unique on her wedding day,” she says.
According to Dubasik, phenomenal service and knowledgeable style consult- ants set Evaline’s Bridal apart from other boutiques. Style consultants are trained on what silhouettes best compliment dif- ferent body types. They are also knowl- edgeable on the wide variety of designer gowns. “Brides are often unsure of the styles and silhouettes that best compli- ment them, and we have the expertise and knowledge to educate them,” Dubasik says. “The comfort level offered by our style consultants makes a bride’s journey so much more pleasurable.”
Every year, Dubasik produces Evaline’s Bridal Show held at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. The event gives brides the chance to meet with local wedding profes- sionals and see a fashion show featuring the latest bridal gown trends. “We bring together leading bridal professionals in our area to create a one-of-a-kind experi- ence for brides,” Dubasik explains. “We select the most reputable vendors to be part of this event.” In addition, Evaline’s Bridal is participating in the National Bridal Sale Day held the third Saturday in July where brides can take advantage of special savings.
A visit to Evaline’s Bridal has become a tradition for many local families. In fact, many former brides return with their daughters or granddaughters who are now getting married. “We’ve cried with our brides. We’ve laughed with them. We’ve taught girls how to walk in high heels and carry their gowns,” Dubasik says.
